Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, and Elizabeth Olsen Turn Out for The Avengers: Age of Ultron New York Premiere and Party. The comic-book phenomenon of the summer, Avengers: Age of Ultron, came to New York City Tuesday night at The Cinema Society screening and after-party at the brand-new New York Edition hotel, which opens formally on May 14.
The red carpet was rightfully buzzy, as Jeremy Renner, 50 Cent, and Jennifer Connelly were snapped by photographers; Jenna Lyons and Donna Karan ducked inside; and Robert Downey Jr. snuck through the back door.
For Cobie Smulders, who was radiant in Jason Wu, being part of the franchise is all about stepping into “this magical world it’s so fun.” And it’s clearly a cast who is used to having quite a bit of fun with one another: Elizabeth Olsenrevealed costar Chris Evans is unexpectedly “an amazing tap dancer.”
Following the screening, guests were among the first to experience the not-yet-open New York Edition hotel for a night of celebrations. Hugging Madison Square Park, the hotel couldn’t have been more luminous for the evening (even though still enjoying a few finishing touches). Guests milled from bookcase-lined-room to room, playing pool in one and chatting around a candlelit fire mantle in another. On the heels of such a cinematic (and purely fun) blockbuster, it made for a truly proper social debut for the Edition.

Yep, New York Fashion Week has arrived and the first day of shows did not, we repeat, did not disappoint. For the fall-winter 2015 season, designers are making waves with luxe leather and fur accents, bright pops of orange and myriad metallics, and these are just a few of the trends we've spotted in the last, oh, twelve hours.
We've got our eye out for other fashion week staples, of course: Street style stars, standout runway looks and celebs sitting pretty in front row. But really, the shows are the main event—so each day we'll be bringing you the best from Lincoln Center.
The BCBG presentation gave us all sorts of woven coat envy, and put orange accents on our radar as a major trend for fall. The shoe-game was impressive too: We're talking furry booties and sexy knee-high leather.
Honor's showing was a testament to fall's richest hues, including a bright blood-orange, plummy voilet and cobalt blue. This collection also gave us hope for the return of our favorite 90s accessory: The ultra-wide headband.
Graphic monochrome prints? Check. Leopard coats? Double check. No-holds-barred gold boots? Well, you know. Lisa Perry's fall collection had just enough whimsy (and touches of tangerine) to keep us on our toes.
Nicholas Kunz's aviator-meets-motorcycle babe runway motif has given us ample inspiration for looking cold weather chic. His latest collection features fur trim, sexy leather looks and a new spin on classic cargo pants.

She is often seen making an stylish sartorial display. And Emmy Rossum once again showcased her impressive style as she was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old put her toned legs on show in a monochrome palm tree print dress which she teamed with black sandals.
The brunette beauty shielded her eyes from the glorious sunshine with black shades while she styled her locks into a chic braided up-do. Completing the look with a stylish white handbag, the starlet let her natural beauty shine through with minimal make-up.
